AMENDOLA PROMOTED SDOH FOR HSBLOX WITH AWARD-WINNING RESULTS

Insight

To raise awareness of HSBlox and its role in value-based administration, Amendola researched top healthcare industry analysts, reporters and publications covering value-based care, social determinants of health (SDOH), and health equity. The industry was ripe for greater awareness of the complexities of data management and chain of custody requirements, and the need for sophisticated technology to streamline operations to realize health equity.    As a starting point, Amendola reviewed messaging with HSBlox and helped elevate key benefits of its platform required to address valued-based administration. The updated messaging resonated with influencers because of a focus on benefits and how to help various healthcare stakeholders involved in the VBC process. Amendola also evaluated messaging of chief rivals and how Gartner and CB Insights categorized them. This exercise created the framework for positioning HSBlox in the marketplace – not as a competitor to these larger rivals, but as technology that could be layered on top of theirs to fill gaps.

Solution

We built a weekly cadence of media campaigns, alternating among proactive, issues-based pitching; HSBlox news; and thought leadership.   We drafted pitches and contributed content that added new elements to the media and analyst coverage over the last few years. For example, while much of the coverage focused on the need to address SDOH in value-based care program models, fewer articles discussed the challenges of incorporating digitized unstructured data in a way that made it part of a patient’s entire medical record for whole-person health.   Lastly, we pitched briefings with top analyst firms covering value-based care and the payer markets.

Overview

Amendola’s overarching goals centered on raising awareness of the data and payment exchange challenges of value-based care (VBC) models and the ways in which HSBlox technologies integrate traditional medical networks with non-medical ones (i.e., social services agencies, community-based organizations) to bring VBC administration to fruition. This assembly of stakeholders required for VBC to work became all the more important as a result of health inequities that the pandemic brought to light.
